Sensei Joey Larocque

Sensei Joey Larocque has 40 years of experience in several different styles of Martial Arts. He is a Sixth-Degree Black Belt in Shaolin Kempo and has trained with the Shaolin Monks in China. Sensei Larocque teaches a combination of the internal arts of Shaolin Kung Fu with the external applications of Kempo, which create an explosive combination of speed and power that is needed for Self Defense. Using this blend of the hard and soft styles of Martial Arts, Sensei Larocque has won over twenty-five Grand Championships in Weapons, Forms, and Sparring. In 2005, he was inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame with the prestigious title of Shaolin Kempo Master of the Year. Sensei Larocque continues to spread his teachings of Shaolin Kempo throughout his community and beyond. He is a student himself who is always striving to learn and perfect his system of Martial Arts. He works out daily and leads his students by example. He believes that in order to develop true Kung Fu (skill) a student should train every day and he practices what he preaches. Sensei Larocque believes that the Martial Arts will benefit, enhance, and change anyone's life who experiences it. He has devoted himself to sharing his style of the Shaolin Arts to as many people that he possibly can.
